Check Writer for Core Director’s compatibility with Microsoft® Word allows tellers to use bank-customized professional quality templates that automatically populate data fields. This feature allows checks to be designed with different fonts, formats, bank logos, signatures, and watermarks.

Check Writer for Core Director enables banks that elect to print the MICR line to print with MICR toner. Check numbers can be preprinted or Check Writer for Core Director can generate the next available check number. The system provides the bank with the necessary flexibility to set the checking account number for each individual type of check produced.

Check Writer for Core Director automatically tracks each check produced and can print a digitized signature to prevent unauthorized signatures, helping to ensure that tellers follow bank policies concerning authorized signatures. This system also provides a minimum dollar amount for a second signature for each check type.   With Check Writer for Core Director, a bank can quickly reconcile issued checks, customize reports for any department, create online check registers, print checks from CSRs’ desks for closed accounts, and generate loan proceed checks.
